El Paraiso Golf
El Paraiso Golf on the Costa del Sol Golf is an attractive golf course on the Costa Del Sol Spain, which is being constantly improved by it’s members.
Originally designed by (the man in black) Gary Player in 1974 it was originally owned by Wimpey Homes and purchased by the members in 1996.
The layout and presentation of this well renowned golf course is continually refined by it’s members.
El Paraiso Golf Course clubhouse has a rustic Andalucian feel and a great atmosphere is situated right in the middle of the playing ground, between what used to be the green of the par four 3rd and the tee of the par three 17th holes, and affords a pretty view of the whole course.
In general, one could say that the El Paraiso Golf Club is, in some ways, misleading, because the generosity of its fairways makes it seem easy, when the fact remains that, on either side, difficult obstacles constantly appear, with roughs that in many cases conceal lakes and streams that, while enhancing the natural beauty of the course, constitute a real hazard.
The beauty of the El Paraiso’s environment stands out on its own on a spot that holds par four 13th and par three 14th holes, with a lake bang in the middle, and thick groves around it.
El Paraiso Golf is one of the most picturesque golf course’s on the Costa del Sol Golf with it’s meandering streams running into lakes and large palms, all set against the beautiful mountain range
Living just a few kilometers and playing on this golf course with it’s members on to many times to recall, El Paraiso Golf in my opinion is one, if not the best Golf Course on the Costa del Sol, Spain.
