La Cala Golf Course North

La Cala Golf is located right in the centre of the Costa del Sol, Spain and forms a spectacular enclave between Mijas Costa and Marbella, where you can enjoy a game of golf on three splendid 18-hole golf courses surrounded by green rolling hills

The three fine 18 hole golf courses located at the La Cala Golf resort, La Cala America (Par 73, formerly North) and La Cala Asia (Par 71, formerly South) and La Cala Europa (par 71, formerly New) , all designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson.

The Resort also houses the prestigious David Leadbetter Golf Academy with adjoining driving range and six hole, par three "Executive" golf course. With the opening of the new Europa course, the FBD owned La Cala Golf Resort is the only resort on the Costa del Sol Golf with three 18-hole championship golf courses.

The America Course starts with the three flat holes followed by a narrow and interesting Par 3, where it is recommended that you hit the ball onto the green or you will find yourself in the ravine or a bunker

Watch out for the 5th, a difficult uphill index 1 hole, where a good drive is a necessity. If you have time walk up to the white tee box on the 16th and take in the spectacular views of the entire resort, and you can even see the coast line from this height.
