Marbella Golf Course
Marbella Golf on the Costa del Sol, Spain was designed by Dave Thomas, one of the world’s most renowned golf course architects who has completed over 100 courses worldwide including the re-modeling of The Belfry for the 2001 Ryder Cup.
Marbella Golf Course which was inaugurated in 1999, is for the exclusive use of guests of the five star Marbella Club and Puente Romano Hotels plus property owners on the Marbella Club Golf Resort.
With twelve minutes between tee times overcrowded rounds are not a concern and morning tee times are guaranteed. Golfers receive the level of service expected from a five star resort with golf clubs collected and placed on buggies.
The Marbella Golf clubhouse is an attractive thatched cottage overlooking the 18th green and the lake of the 1st, offering the perfect surroundings to relax and unwind before and after a round. On cooler days, the open log fire and rustic style furnishing provide a hunting lodge style ambience in keeping with the early aristocratic traditions of the Marbella Golf Course.
Situated in the Benehavis hills this golf course has all you could ask for. With carefully contoured fairways, beautiful water cascades, lakes and strategically placed as well as undulating greens.
Marbella Golf Course which runs through cork oaks, pines and local indigenous plants is a must play for all mid to low handicappers who are looking for a challenging days golf, this golf course will test every department of your game and a bit more.
